Actuarial Manager – Non-Life Insurance
Our client, a leading professional services firm with a growing actuarial practice, is seeking an Actuarial Manager to join their Non-Life Insurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients, contributing to technical and strategic projects beyond traditional reserving, including regulatory, capital, and advisory engagements.
This position is ideal for a Qualified Actuary with strong reserving experience who is eager to broaden their consulting expertise and play a leading role in a dynamic, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality actuarial input across multiple audit and advisory projects, primarily focused on non-life reserving and Solvency II.
- Provide expert review of clients’ reserving methodologies, assumptions, and capital requirements.
- Manage junior actuarial staff, providing coaching and oversight to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Engage directly with clients, building strong relationships and contributing to stakeholder discussions.
- Support business development, including proposal writing and participation in client pitches.
- Drive knowledge-sharing and contribute to internal actuarial initiatives.
About You
- Qualified Actuary (FSAI or equivalent), ideally with experience in the Irish or UK non-life insurance market.
- Strong technical expertise in non-life reserving across various lines of business.
- Knowledge of Solvency II technical provisions and capital requirements; IFRS 17 experience a plus.
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on quality.
- Experience in consulting or audit is beneficial, but not essential.
