We believe clients and candidates in the Actuarial profession are often taken for granted. We believe clients and candidates deserve better. That’s why we’re on a mission to improve this one placement at a time.

Giving fees back to our clients…

we believe it’s only fair to give back to clients who we make multiple placements with. Not promising ‘future’ discount but showing what a true partnership looks like by returning fees after certain milestones or donating the equivalent sum to the clients nominated charity partner or esg initiative.

Giving long term contractors a pay rise…

we don’t think it’s fair to charge a client the same margin on a contractor after 12 months. After all our main role is to find great Actuarial talent and introduce them to the client and as time goes on, we believe our daily margin (fee) should be reduced, with the saving passed on to the client hopefully resulting in a rate increase for the contractor.

Giving to our candidates communities…

every time we help someone move roles we will make a minimum donation of £100 to a cause that’s important to them. Whether this be a charity donation or supporting a Just Giving fund raiser.

Transparency for clients and candidates…

we want our clients to see candidates original CVs. Agency formatting of CVs is not transparent, and we think candidates and clients should be able to form a first impression based on the candidates ability to articulate their experience, not an agency.

Transparency for candidates…

we want our stakeholders to understand how we get paid. We want to see more transparency in the recruitment market and where we are permitted by the client, will tell our candidates exactly what we get paid for finding them a new role. Changing roles is a huge decision and it’s only right that candidates know what is in it for the associated third parties. Transparency builds trust.

He has won new business with a huge number of Actuarial clients from international insurers to global consultancies and created a multimillion turnover Actuarial Division from scratch, including recruiting and training a full team of high calibre Consultants.

 

In addition to his client responsibilities, Austin is a highly experienced recruitment trainer. He has a combination of ‘on the desk’ training tools and classroom-based theory modules tailored to recruiting in the Actuarial sector.

Experienced Recruiter 

We’re really interested in speaking with experienced recruiters who want to move away from the tired agency model of placing candidates and clients at the bottom of the pecking order. We think there is a better way for the industry to operate. One where clients, candidates and agencies can win together.

 

You will ideally have a track record of winning new clients and operating a 360 desk or have a solid background running a 180 desk (but open to moving into a 360 with training and support from us).

 

We are looking to build a business which can challenge the status quo of Actuarial recruitment by making it more fair, more transparent and more community focused – without comprising on the quality of the cutting-edge solutions we provide.

 

We have an unbeatable commission scheme to reward those who join us in improving the market one placement at a time. We are work life balance centric and looking to attract experienced recruiters who can bring their own style, ways of working and flair to the business.

Trainee Recruitment Scheme

We’re interested in speaking with highly driven individuals who have recently graduated from university (or demonstrating equivalent experience) or those with up to 12 months of sales or customer service experience.

You will have strong written communication skills and able to demonstrate good organisational skills. We will provide you with a comprehensive and structured training programme, which will support you from day one to help you grow into a values driven Actuarial recruiter.
