Senior Pricing Analyst (Modelling)
Our client, a leading personal lines insurer, is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst (Modelling) to join their established and growing pricing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pricing professional with strong technical expertise and deep modelling experience to lead the development of cutting-edge pricing models. You’ll take a hands-on role in building and optimising models using market-leading software, while also shaping best practices and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across modelling initiatives, primarily using Emblem and Radar
- Design and deliver pricing solutions that align with strategic and commercial objectives
- Coach and mentor junior team members and champion best practice in pricing modelling
- Ensure robust governance and risk management across modelling work
- Research and embed advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
- Support Pricing Managers and deputise where appropriate
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
About You:
- Previous experience in General Insurance Pricing
- Proven expertise in predictive modelling using tools such as Emblem and Radar
- Proficient in statistical or data science programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, SAS)
- Strong understanding of a range of modelling techniques including GLMs, GBMs, GAMs, clustering, etc.
- Quantitative degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science)
- Passionate about improving processes and delivering high-impact insights
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, mentoring approach
