Our client, a growing Life Insurer is seeking a BPA Transition Manager to support the onboarding and successful transition of Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) schemes from deal execution through to buy-out.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of DB pensions and the BPA market to lead complex transitions, manage key external relationships, and drive operational readiness across high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end BPA transitions, including deal execution, true-ups, and buy-out.

• Develop and deliver project plans for each scheme transition.

• Act as the main operational contact for Trustees, EBCs, and administrators.

• Ensure operational readiness and support documentation processes.

• Represent the business in external meetings and internal forums.

• Monitor issues, escalate risks, and stay informed on market developments.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and conduct standards.

About You

• Strong knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions and the BPA market.

• Proven experience in BPA transitions and client relationship management.

• Excellent project management and communication skills, particularly dealing with senior stakeholders.
