BPA Transition Manager
Our client, a growing Life Insurer is seeking a BPA Transition Manager to support the onboarding and successful transition of Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) schemes from deal execution through to buy-out.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of DB pensions and the BPA market to lead complex transitions, manage key external relationships, and drive operational readiness across high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end BPA transitions, including deal execution, true-ups, and buy-out.

Develop and deliver project plans for each scheme transition.

Act as the main operational contact for Trustees, EBCs, and administrators.

Ensure operational readiness and support documentation processes.

Represent the business in external meetings and internal forums.

Monitor issues, escalate risks, and stay informed on market developments.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and conduct standards.
About You

Strong knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions and the BPA market.

Proven experience in BPA transitions and client relationship management.

Excellent project management and communication skills, particularly dealing with senior stakeholders.
