Our client, a leading pensions and insurance business with a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation, is seeking a BPA Pensions Data and Onboarding Specialist to join their BPA Transitions team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the successful onboarding of Bulk Purchase Annuity business onto the firm’s pricing and administration platform.

This position would suit a candidate with strong experience in defined benefit pensions, large-scale data migrations, and data analysis. It’s an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to take ownership of complex data projects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality outcomes for future policyholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support onboarding of Bulk Purchase Annuity business onto the administration platform.
• Analyse, transform, and reconcile defined benefit pension data.
• Maintain full audit trails and ensure data integrity for pricing and administration.
• Test payroll, pension increase, and benefit automation runs.
• Monitor and improve data quality, addressing errors and preventing recurrence.
• Recommend and test process or system enhancements to support BPA operations.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and data requirements.
• Experience in large pensions data migrations.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Financial services experience, preferably life and pensions.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and effective in stakeholder collaboration.
