Our client, a respected consultancy in the pensions and risk transfer space, is seeking a Benefit Correction Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pensions professional with strong DB experience to work on impactful projects within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You’ll be involved in a variety of project work, initially focusing on GMP reconciliation and equalisation, before expanding into wider benefit correction and member option exercises. The role offers great exposure across actuarial, administration, and data teams, with clear opportunities for development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of benefit correction, GMP reconciliation, and equalisation projects.
  • Prepare and check benefit calculations and data analysis.
  • Review member files and historic scheme data to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist with drafting client reports and technical project documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You:

  • Experience gained in an Actuarial, technical, or pensions administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of DB pensions and benefit calculations.
  • Prior experience of GMP is useful, but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong Excel and data handling skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • Progress toward an actuarial or technical qualification is advantageous but not essential.
