What you’ll be working on:
You will be part of a specialist transition function responsible for delivering smooth and effective buy-in and buy-out transitions. Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Building and driving project plans for each proposed buy-in execution
- Leading transition plans through to buy-out, including the true-up
- Managing operational relationships with Trustees, EBCs, and ceding administrators
- Representing the business in key stakeholder meetings
- Ensuring operational readiness for all new transitions
- Supporting the preparation of contractual and individual policy documents
- Monitoring industry developments and identifying emerging risks
- Supporting additional tasks aligned with the needs of the BPA transition team
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong knowledge of UK Defined Benefit Pensions and the BPA market
- Direct experience of the BPA transition process
- Proven track record in project management and client/stakeholder relationship management
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proactive, pragmatic, adaptable, and able to build productive relationships
