One of our key Life Insurance clients is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their established Pricing team. This role offers excellent exposure to Annuity and Bulk Annuity Pricing, combining technical modelling, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration. It is well suited to a highly numerate analyst looking to build or deepen experience in Life Insurance Pricing and Valuation.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of Pricing models for Annuity and Bulk Annuity business
  • Preparing and analysing policyholder data for Pricing, including addressing data gaps and assumptions
  • Conducting experience investigations to inform Pricing assumptions
  • Supporting Valuation work, including Solvency II, UK GAAP and IFRS17 reporting
  • Providing analytical support across the team to implement recommendations and facilitate change
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to support business objectives

Skills & Experience Required

Mandatory

  • Part Qualified Actuary (or stop-studier with relevant experience)
  • Prior UK Life Insurance experience
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical capability; experience of analysing/investigating data would be highly beneficial
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to propose solutions
