Part Qualified Pensions Actuary – Partner Led Firm
Our client is seeking a Part-Qualified Actuary to join their Pensions Consulting team as an Associate Actuarial Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, from smaller schemes to large £1bn+ arrangements, providing support and advice across the Defined Benefit (DB) pensions market.
This position offers excellent opportunities for development within a well-established and growing consultancy, with exposure to a variety of projects and clear progression pathways.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Actuarial valuations for a range of purposes
- Attend client meetings and present routine pieces of analysis
- Delegate tasks to analysts and ensure work is prepared for review
- Calculate and check individual member calculations, including transfer values
- Produce member option factors such as early/late retirement and commutation factors
- Prepare accounting disclosures under IAS19 and/or US GAAP
- Collaborate with specialist teams across areas such as Pensions Risk Transfer, longevity, and CDC
- Attend industry networking events and contribute to team initiatives
Skills & Experience Required:
- Part Qualified Actuary (working towards FIA)
- Experience within the UK DB pensions consulting environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear written outputs and presentations
- Ability to delegate tasks and support junior team members
