Our client, a market-leading consultancy with one of the UK’s largest and most established Pensions Data teams, is seeking a Senior Pensions Data Specialist to join their growing practice.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Defined Benefit Pensions professional to join a specialist team delivering complex data, auditing, cleansing and rectification projects for some of the UK’s largest pension schemes.

 

The role combines strong technical pensions knowledge with data analysis, project delivery, client management and technology-led solutions. You’ll work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to identify data challenges, develop practical solutions and support pension schemes through a broad range of strategic initiatives.

 

You’ll join a highly regarded Pensions Data Solutions team, working alongside specialists across pensions administration, Actuarial, technology and project management to deliver innovative solutions and add tangible value to clients and pension scheme members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex Pensions Data projects, including data audits, cleansing, benefit rectification and GMP-related exercises
  • Create and customise bulk tools and solutions to address complex client requirements
  • Direct and review work completed by other team members, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop data strategies and plans to address data deficiencies and improve the quality of Pension scheme data
  • Apply strong Defined Benefit Pensions knowledge to identify risks, issues and appropriate solutions
  • Communicate complex technical Pensions and data issues clearly to clients, trustees, Pension managers and other stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, third parties, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues, supporting the continued development of the Pensions Data team
  • Contribute to the development of technology and innovative solutions that improve outcomes for clients and scheme members

 

About You

  • Experienced Defined Benefit Pensions professional with strong UK Pensions knowledge
  • Proven experience across Pensions data auditing, cleansing and/or rectification
  • Actuarial, Pensions Administration or technical Pensions experience
  • Strong analytical, Excel and technical skills
  • Confident communicator with good project and client management skills
