Actuarial Pensions Consultant
Our client, an industry leading Consultancy, is looking for an Actuarial Pensions Consultant to join their growing DB Pensions Consulting team. Working across a range of Corporate and Trustee clients, this role would see you engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
Responsibilities of the Actuarial Pensions Consultant:
- Advising a range of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
- Opportunities to work in specialist areas such as GMPe, Risk Transfer, M&As and Asset Liability Modelling
- Reviewing individual member calculations, valuations and accounting disclosures carried out by more junior colleagues
- Contributing to bespoke client projects
- Attending client meetings and managing delivery of client work
- Leading the day-to-day management of clients, providing updates on a variety of issues
- Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues
Skills/Experience required for the Actuarial Pensions Consultant:
- Qualified Actuary
- Prior DB Pensions Consulting experience or BPA experience from a Life Insurance role
- Strong communication skills
