Our client is looking for an Actuarial Assistant to join their Pensions function in a role focused on technical valuations work.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to implement your DB pensions experience in a technical role within a growing team.

 

Responsibilities of the Technical Actuarial Valuations Assistant:

  • Carry out cashflow valuations of funds, considering buy-in/buyout contracts
  • Produce complex models and undertake calculations
  • Develop understanding of relevant technical issues
  • Use in-house software to prepare data and actuarial bases
  • Working across multiple workstreams with regular rotations providing variety

 

Skills/Experience Required for the Technical Actuarial Valuations Assistant:

  • Part Qualified Actuary making initial progress through the Actuarial exams or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior Pensions valuations experience would be highly beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
