Our client is seeking a Qualified Actuary to join their Pensions Consulting team as either an Actuarial Consultant or Senior Actuarial Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, including household names and FTSE100 businesses, providing expert advice on various aspects of the Defined Benefit (DB) Pensions market.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice to Corporate and Trustee pension schemes on issues such as GMP, Risk Transfer, Member Options, and Investments
• Review valuations and calculations prepared by junior team members
• Act as the day-to-day contact for your clients, managing queries and providing regular updates
• Attend client meetings alongside senior colleagues, with opportunities to present
• Participate in internal secondments to other teams or departments
• Mentor and train junior Actuarial staff where appropriate

Skills & Experience Required:

• Fully Qualified Actuary with approximately 3–5 years post-qualification experience
• Experience in DB Pensions Consulting or BPA within a Life Insurance role
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders
