Our client, a leading UK personal lines insurer, is seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst to join their growing, fast-paced Pricing function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pricing professional to take ownership of strategic pricing initiatives, lead analytical projects, and influence commercial outcomes across a broad portfolio of Personal Lines products.

You’ll bring strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen, collaborating cross-functionally while mentoring junior analysts and contributing to pricing innovation in a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimise pricing solutions aligned with commercial objectives
  • Lead performance monitoring and risk modelling frameworks across key products
  • Conduct detailed data analysis using advanced predictive modelling techniques
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Data, and Technical Modelling teams to deliver actionable insights
  • Drive continuous improvement and champion pricing best practices
  • Contribute to or lead strategic initiatives and tactical interventions
  • Mentor and support the development of junior pricing analysts

About You:

  • Proven experience in General Insurance Pricing
  • Strong technical skills in Python, R, SQL, SAS, and/or PySpark
  • Proficiency in predictive modelling techniques (GLMs, GBMs, Decision Trees, Neural Nets, Clustering)
  • Working knowledge of WTW’s Radar and Emblem software
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience leading projects or small teams within a pricing environment
  • A proactive, detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for mentoring others
