Our client, a partner-led Consultancy, is looking for a Part Qualified Actuary to join their growing Pensions Consulting team. This role is ideal for someone comfortably working at a ‘checker’ level for most or all of their current client work. You will work across a range of Corporate and Trustee clients, engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to advise a diverse portfolio of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
  • Undertake individual member calculations, valuations, and accounting disclosures
  • Review work completed by more junior colleagues
  • Attend some client meetings and assist in managing the delivery of client work
  • Support the day-to-day management of clients, providing updates on a variety of issues
  • Mentor and train junior actuarial colleagues where appropriate

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Part Qualified Actuary making initial progress through Actuarial exams or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior experience in DB Pensions Consulting or BPA experience from a Life Insurance role
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
