We are supporting a market leading consultancy who are looking to bring on board a Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary to join their London Market Pricing team (those who are Qualified with a few years PQE could also be considered).

 

The London Market Pricing Consultant would be actively involved in developing new propositions, contributing to thought leadership internally and developing new business. This role would see you working across a range of projects covering areas such as pricing strategy, building pricing models and designing portfolio management capabilities. This consultancy advise a huge range of Syndicates, Insurers and Reinsurers, offering the London Market Pricing Consultant broad and varied insights across the market.

 

This opportunity offers clear career development, with progression and skill development embedded into both team and company culture. The London Market Pricing Consultant position is offered on a hybrid working basis, with most colleagues spending 2-3 days a week in the London office.

 

Key Responsibilities of the London Market Pricing Consultant:

  • Work across a range of projects covering areas such as pricing strategy, building pricing models and designing portfolio management capabilities
  • Advising Syndicate / Insurance / Reinsurance clients within London Market Pricing projects
  • Managing ad-hoc project teams utilising a pooled resource of junior colleagues
  • Developing internal pricing propositions and intellectual capital
  • Initial line management responsibilities for 1 junior colleague

 

Required Skills/Experience for the London Market Pricing Consultant:

  • Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary or Qualified Actuary with a few years PQE
  • Prior London Market Pricing experience would be highly beneficial
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage with various stakeholders and manage projects would be highly beneficial
