Actuarial Trustee Consultant – Multiple Locations
Our client, a market-leading Consultancy, is looking for an Actuarial Consultant to join their Trustee Consulting team. Working across a range of clients, this role would see you working as part of an established team and engaging with a variety of external stakeholders.
As an Actuarial Trustee Consultant you would have ownership over a portfolio of clients, responsible for day to day delivery, standard of client work and delegating work to junior colleagues.
The Actuarial Trustee Consultant position can be undertaken as fully Trustee focused, or offered as a ‘split’ role combining Trustee work with one or more other technical areas.
This role can be offered from multiple offices across the UK. Hybrid working is offered as standard, with most colleagues spending 2 – 3 days a week in the office.
The Actuarial Trustee Consultant can be offered as a full-time position or on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities of the Actuarial Trustee Consultant:
- Provide expert advice to a range of clients covering areas such as funding negotiations, valuations, member options and risk settlement projects
- Day to day management of client relationships, often acting as the main point of contact
- Supporting senior colleagues in servicing and developing larger and more complex clients
- Managing projects of various sizes in areas such as valuations and factor reviews
- Supporting on new business efforts
- Manage, mentor and train junior Actuarial staff where appropriate
Skills/Experience required for the Actuarial Trustee Consultant:
- Qualified Actuary or very Nearly Qualified Actuary
- Prior DB Pensions experience from a Consulting role
- Strong communication skills
