Consulting Actuary – Partner-led Consultancy
Our client, a highly respected partner-led consultancy, is seeking a Consulting Actuary to join their DB Pensions team in the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Actuary with experience across a range of DB pension schemes to take the lead on client relationships and drive delivery across both standard and bespoke projects.

The role can be based from several South West office locations, with hybrid working as standard—most colleagues spend 2 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to Trustee and Corporate DB pension schemes on a broad range of issues, including GMP, risk transfer, member options, and investment strategy
- Lead client relationships and act as the main point of contact across your portfolio
- Oversee and review technical work, including valuations and bespoke calculations
- Attend and contribute to client meetings and new business development efforts
- Collaborate closely with Partners on strategic growth and client delivery
- Mentor, train, and support junior actuarial colleagues
About You:
- Qualified Actuary with strong DB pensions consulting experience
- Comfortable managing client relationships and overseeing delivery
- Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
- Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to lead internal teams and engage externally
