Our client, a leading specialty insurer, is seeking a Nearly or Newly Qualified Pricing Actuary to join its dynamic actuarial team. This position is well-suited to a Newly or Nearly Qualified Actuary with strong pricing experience, ideally within the London Market or commercial lines. You’ll play a key role in developing cutting-edge pricing models and analytics to drive profitable growth and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance pricing models and actuarial tools across a range of specialty insurance lines.
- Partner with Underwriters to improve pricing accuracy and support portfolio profitability.
- Conduct technical analysis, pricing adequacy reviews, and profitability studies.
- Support the development and refinement of internal pricing platforms and infrastructure.
- Ensure pricing methodologies and processes align with internal governance and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to wider business projects such as product development, pricing strategy reviews, and digital transformation initiatives.
About You
- Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary with prior pricing experience in non-life insurance.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, particularly in Excel; programming knowledge (e.g., Python, SQL, R, VBA, C#) is a plus.
- Experience within the London Market or commercial lines is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with pricing platforms such as HX Renew is beneficial but not essential.
