Our client, a London Market Insurer, is seeking a Pricing Actuary to join a global Property team, providing crucial actuarial and analytical support. You’ll work closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver detailed pricing analysis, performance monitoring, and support business growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide actuarial and analytical support to help the Property business grow profitably.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to deliver transactional pricing analysis.
  • Monitor and analyse  performance data using R to support underwriting decisions.
  • Lead technical development of pricing tools and participate in rating model development projects.
  • Oversee pricing models at renewal and new business stages, ensuring consistency.
  • Mentor and train junior actuarial staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and risk management procedures.

 

About You

  • Fully Qualified Actuary.
  • Extensive experience in Actuarial Pricing within London Market or Commercial Lines.
  • Strong programming skills in R and/or Python.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to explain complex actuarial concepts clearly to non-specialists.
