Our client, a leading UK General Insurer, is seeking a Qualified Actuary or Nearly Qualified Actuary to join their Financial Risk team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver insights and recommendations on Financial Risk, Capital, and solvency management.
• Support strategic decision-making for Investment, Reinsurance, and bonus distribution.
• Analyse complex scenarios, including extreme events such as severe weather and market shocks.
• Communicate complex Actuarial concepts clearly to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business and foster strong working relationships.

About You

• FIA or FFA Qualified, or willingness to achieve full qualification if part-qualified.
• Experience in General Insurance Actuarial or Consultancy roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
