Our client, a market-leading international consultancy, is seeking Associate Pensions Consultants to join their specialist Defined Benefit (DB) Pensions Consulting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for pensions professionals—whether from an actuarial, administration, or project management background—to step into a client-facing consulting role. You’ll be part of a high-performing team delivering bespoke advice and solutions across specialist areas such as Risk Transfer and GMP Equalisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting senior consultants on key schemes
  • Carry out technical calculations and contribute to project delivery
  • Manage client processes and ensure work is completed to high professional standards
  • Work on specialist areas such as buy-in/buy-out transactions, GMP Equalisation, or process design
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored consulting solutions
  • Support ongoing innovation and best practice across the business

About You:

  • Prior experience working with Defined Benefit pension schemes
  • Background in actuarial, pensions administration, or project management
  • Confident communicator, with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Keen to develop a long-term career in DB pensions consulting
