Our client, a leading organisation in the Insurance space, is seeking a Financial Risk Manager to join their central Risk function. This is an excellent opportunity for a risk professional with strong experience in financial risk management to step into a high-impact role within a well-established and evolving business.

You’ll work at the heart of the organisation, supporting the oversight of key financial risks including pricing, underwriting, reserving, and capital management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent oversight and challenge across pricing and underwriting activity.
  • Support the development and enhancement of financial risk frameworks and controls.
  • Monitor key risk exposures and ensure alignment with risk appetite.
  • Deliver clear, insightful risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging risks and drive appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Partner with actuarial, underwriting, and finance teams on key initiatives and decisions.
  • Contribute risk input into business strategy, product development, and pricing changes.

About You:

  • Strong experience in financial risk management within Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Proven expertise in pricing and underwriting risk would be highly beneficial.
  • Good understanding of reserving, capital management, and broader financial risk frameworks.
  • Experience working with or reviewing risk and Actuarial models.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
