Our client, a growing Life Insurer, is looking for a Pricing Lead to join their growing BPA Pricing team.

This role is suited to a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary, or someone with relevant experience who has paused their studies. The BPA team has ambitious plans to establish a strong presence in the Risk Transfer market and has already successfully priced several transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BPA pricing activities and contribute to pricing strategy.
• Check preparation and analysis of Defined Benefit pension scheme data for pricing.
• Use valuation systems to validate modelling of DB pension scheme cashflows.
• Conduct experience investigations to inform pricing assumptions.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues within the team.

About You

• Nearly / Newly Qualified, or stop-studier with relevant BPA or DB pensions consulting experience.
• Experience in Defined Benefit pensions consulting or BPA pricing within Life Insurance or Reinsurance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
