Our client, a growing Life Insurer, is looking for a Financial Risk Analyst to join their expanding Risk function.

This role is suited to a Part Qualified Actuary, or someone with relevant experience who has paused their studies. The team plays a key role in overseeing financial risks, providing second line oversight across credit, ALM, and investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the management of Financial Risks, providing second line challenge and support.
• Review credit risk, ALM activities and internal credit rating methodologies.
• Contribute to review and challenge of commercial proposals, BPA deals, reinsurance arrangements, and acquisitions.
• Monitor risk metrics, support governance reporting, and contribute to ORSA and regulatory submissions.
• Support independent validation of the Partial Internal Model (PIM) and enterprise risk management framework.

About You

• Part Qualified Actuary with at least two years’ experience in Risk (1st or 2nd line functions)
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements and Life/Pensions investments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
