Our client, a leading UK Pensions Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Pensions Manager to join their London based team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a pensions administration team while managing a portfolio of occupational pension scheme clients. Combining technical expertise with people leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality administration services, developing client relationships, and driving operational excellence.

 

Working across a portfolio of pension schemes, you’ll oversee day-to-day service delivery, manage client relationships, and support a range of annual and project-based activities. This role is ideal for an experienced pensions professional looking to take on a leadership position within a collaborative and growing consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of pensions administration services across your client portfolio
  • Act as the main contact for trustees and corporate clients
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of pensions administrators
  • Oversee annual and ad hoc projects, ensuring work is delivered to agreed timescales and regulatory requirements
  • Review technical work, manage workflow and drive continuous process improvements
  • Monitor financial performance, billing and resource planning
  • Support business development activities and client presentations where required

 

About You:

  • Significant UK Defined Benefit pensions administration experience
  • Previous team leadership or management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions legislation and administration
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational, communication and project management skills
