Our client is seeking an Investment Analyst (Credit) to join their growing investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded investment professional to develop their expertise within credit markets, working in a collaborative environment that offers broad exposure across investment reporting, portfolio analysis, and governance.

 

This role would suit someone with previous experience in investments, Actuarial, or accounting who is looking to build on their technical knowledge while gaining hands-on exposure to credit portfolios and investment reporting.

 

Working closely with the wider investment team, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality management information, analysing credit portfolios, supporting investment governance, and contributing to a range of business and project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Investment Analyst (Credit) role:

  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual credit reporting
  • Analyse credit portfolios and provide meaningful investment insights
  • Produce high-quality management information and performance reporting
  • Prepare reports for internal governance and control forums
  • Support investment governance meetings and liaise with third-party providers where required
  • Contribute to business initiatives and ongoing projects
  • Ensure regulatory and governance requirements are met

Skills & Experience required for the Investment Analyst (Credit) role:

  • Previous experience within an investment, Actuarial, or accounting analytical role
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
