Our client, a market-leading General Insurer, are seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst to join their Pricing function due to growth in the team. As a Lead Pricing Analyst you will develop innovative and actionable pricing solutions.

Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Pricing Analyst (or a Senior Pricing Analyst looking to take a step up) with a track record of Personal Lines pricing across Motor, Home, Pet, Travel or Private Medical Insurance.

Working closely with Pricing Managers and the Head of Pricing, you will develop and implement complex solutions to continuously enhance pricing strategies.

In this role, you will utilise tools like Emblem and Radar whilst developing GLMs and GBMs. The Principal Pricing Analyst will have the opportunity to explore new technologies and contribute to strategic changes, such as advancing model sophistication and applying the latest data science techniques for profitable growth.

 

Experience required for the Lead Pricing Analyst:

  • As a Lead Pricing Analyst, extensive experience in personal lines, particularly in Motor, Home, Travel, or Private Medical Insurance, is essential.
  • You should possess a deep understanding of General Insurance pricing processes, with strong numerical and statistical skills.
  • Expertise in Radar and/or Emblem is required and experience with programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python is useful.
  • A solid understanding of GLMs and GBMs within personal lines insurance is highly advantageous.
  • In addition, strong communication and influencing skills are essential. You should be well-organised, with the ability to manage time and documentation efficiently.
  • Experience in collaborating with teams to influence decisions and convey complex concepts clearly is highly valued.
