Pricing Analyst – Personal Lines
A fantastic opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join a growing Pricing function at a leading General Insurer. The Pricing Analyst will contribute to the insurance strategy, profitability of the Pricing function and enhancing outcomes for customers.
The Pricing Analyst will focus on Personal Lines pricing; prior experience within Motor, Pet, Home or Travel insurance would be highly beneficial.
The Pricing Analyst will work alongside Senior Analysts and Managers to implement solutions to complex problems and enhance pricing strategies.
Key responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst:
- Oversee pricing performance through automated reporting systems.
- Collaborate with pricing teams to develop and maintain advanced models using a variety of data science techniques.
- Support growth in the pricing portfolios
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement enhancements to pricing processes and products to improve efficiency and profitability
Experience required:
- Prior experience in personal lines pricing preferred – Motor, Pet, Home or Travel insurance experience would be applicable.
- An understanding of General Insurance pricing processes, with strong numerical and statistical skills.
- Experience in a modelling software like Radar or Emblem, and programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python would be highly beneficial.
- Any experience with machine learning techniques would be highly beneficial
- In addition, strong communication and influencing skills are essential. You should be well-organised, with the ability to manage time and documentation efficiently.
