Our client, an industry leading Consultancy, is looking for a Technical Pensions Specialist to join their growing DB Pensions Consulting team. With prior DB Pensions experience, this role would suit someone seeking a more technical position without consulting responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the Technical Pensions Specialist:

• Contributing technical advice to a range of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
• Opportunities to work in specialist areas such as GMPe, Risk Transfer, M&As and Asset Liability Modelling
• Focusing on standard and bespoke calculations,  valuations and accounting disclosures carried out by more junior colleagues
• Contributing to bespoke client projects
• Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues

Skills/Experience required for the Technical Pensions Specialist:

• Part Qualified or Qualified Actuary level – those who have stopped studying or never studied are also encouraged to apply
• Prior DB Pensions experience or BPA experience from a Life Insurance role
• Strong communication skills
