Our client, a partner-led Consultancy, is seeking a Qualified Pensions Actuary to join their growing Pensions Consulting team as a Scheme Actuary.

This opportunity is open to existing Scheme Actuaries seeking a new challenge, as well as Qualified Pensions Actuaries looking to step up into a Scheme Actuary role. You will lead your own portfolio of clients and be responsible for providing expert advice and updates to the schemes under your remit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise a range of clients within the existing portfolio
• Prospect new business to support the company’s growth plans
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive advice on current and emerging pension issues
• Review and sign off on work completed by junior team members
• Lead client meetings and act as the day-to-day contact, managing delivery of client work
• Mentor, train, and manage actuarial colleagues where appropriate

Skills/Experience Required:

• Qualified Actuary with a Scheme Actuary Practicing Certificate
• Proven experience advising clients as a Scheme Actuary
• Strong communication skills, capable of managing client relationships effectively
