Our client is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join their GMP Equalisation team. This role would suit a Part Qualified Actuary (or non-studier at the Analyst level) who wants to leverage their DB Pensions experience across a range of technical GMP Equalisation projects, working alongside a variety of stakeholders internally and externally.

 

The Actuarial Analyst (GMP Equalisation) can be offered from multiple offices across the UK. Hybrid working is offered as standard, with most colleagues spending 2 days a week in the office although there is some flexibility to offer more time working from home.

 

The Actuarial Analyst (GMP Equalisation) can be offered as a full-time position or on a part-time basis.

 

Responsibilities of the Actuarial Analyst (GMP Equalisation):

  • Working as part of a team assisting clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members
  • Reviewing calculations and written advice to clients
  • Engaging with a range of colleagues and teams internally to provide clients with holistic advice around GMP Equalisation
  • Opportunities to get involved in technical projects and research projects
  • Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues

 

Skills/Experience Required for the Actuarial Analyst (GMP Equalisation):

  • Part Qualified Actuary making initial progress through the Actuarial exams or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior DB Pensions experience
  • Prior GMP Equalisation experience would be beneficial, but is not a requirement
  • Strong communication skills
