Our client, a boutique partner-led Consultancy, is looking for a Senior Risk Transfer Specialist to join their growing team. The Senior Risk Transfer Specialist role can be based from several UK offices, with hybrid working as standard (typically 2 days per week in the office). The position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide expert advice to an existing client base on Risk Transfer-related projects (e.g., buy-ins, buy-outs, longevity swaps)
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Risk Transfer transactions, ensuring deadlines and regulatory requirements are met
  • Sign off on technical and regulatory advice across a range of bespoke de-risking projects
  • Act as day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and leading client meetings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide joined-up, well-rounded actuarial advice
  • Support business development activity, including responding to tenders and identifying new opportunities
  • Mentor and support the development of junior actuarial colleagues

 

About You:

  • Fully Qualified Actuary or experienced non-studier with a strong background in Risk Transfer
  • Prior experience from a Consulting, Life Insurance, or Reinsurance environment
  • Proven project management and client-facing skills
  • Strong communication and commercial acumen
